One campus, five undertakings — a school for our own pupils, and four programmes that reach teachers and children well beyond our gate.
Our reach
KFI welcomes the school community to its targeted trainings and teacher professional development for education quality assurance in the schools of Liberia. Alongside the K–12 programme we run consultancy, action research and two community projects.

Core
A full K–12 programme emphasising learner-centred pedagogy and high academic integrity, blending the Liberia National Curriculum with Amplify CKLA, Jolly Phonics, Rod and Staff Science and hands-on science. Basic computer skills and an online learning platform are integrated throughout.

Consultancy
KFI runs the Schools Network Early Literacy Teachers' Certificate training in Jolly Phonics — a synthetic-phonics approach to early literacy — supporting teachers and administrators across Liberia. KFI served as a national pilot in Jolly Phonics teacher training in 2019–2020.

Professional development
An annual Schools Network Continuing Professional Development conference for teachers and administrators, alongside action research in school administration, teacher CPD and university faculty development — all directed at education quality assurance in Liberian schools.

Community project
A community-based literacy intervention for early-grade pupils who are falling behind in reading. The clinic works with children from the surrounding Soul Clinic community, not only with pupils enrolled at KFI.

Community project
A community after-school Science/STEM club built on the “Hands-On-Lab” curriculum, giving pupils access to practical science equipment and experiments that most schools in the area cannot offer.
